Course Description:
This is a full year class. . This class is specially designed for students who feel called into leadership. Whether it be corporate, political, medical, ministerial or any other way. When a person leads they are in the public eye. What is expected of them? The best leader is one who can follow, serve or lead. (Just like Jesus). In this class students will have the opportunity to experience it all!!!
We will be using a lot of material from Toastmasters International, Speaking To A Group, Team Building Curriculum and Heart of a leader

- A 3 Ring Binder
Grading Information:
Students will be graded as follows.
50% classroom attendance and participation. Team Building & Leadership Development.
If student is late to class more than twice without a parent note ½ point will be deducted. If student misses class without a doctors note or parent note 1 point will be deducted.
25% for turning in assignments & Giving Presentations. Each HERO class day an assignment or presentation is late the student will lose 3 points.
25% for Book Report
Guidelines for Success
Class Time: class time will be spent doing team building exercises, preparing for presentations, listening to lectures & watching power point presentations. Students will have a lot of hands on leadership activities. Such as, Round Robin, Crisis Management, Panel Discussions plus much more.
