Course Description:

Students will learn about general construction by putting together a material list, creating a layout, reading blueprints, and by using teamwork they will put together a complete project. Example projects: Rocking horse, lego table, cradle.

 

Supplies Needed for this course: None

            Dress code:

No open toed shoes

No loose sleeve shirts

Glasses or safety glasses must be worn near saws and drills

Hair that is long enough to hang in front of the face must be tied back

Smiles are as useful as any tool and are to be used often

 

Grading information:

Grading will be based upon Class participation and quality of workmanship on projects.

 

Guidelines for success:

Come to class ready to learn and willing to work hard.
