Course Description:

Students will learn how to properly use tools and build simple projects that they will be able to complete within a couple of weeks.  Some samples are: step stool, tool box, lock box, cd/ book rack, etc.

 

Supplies Needed for this course: None

            Dress code:

No open toed shoes

No loose sleeve shirts

Glasses or safety glasses must be worn near saws and drills

Hair that is long enough to hang in front of the face must be tied back

Smiles are as useful as any tool and are to be used often

 

Grading information:

Grading will be based upon Class participation and quality of workmanship on projects.

 

Guidelines for success:

Come to class ready to learn and willing to work hard.
